The structure of the Group

Intrum is the largest European operator of credit services born in 2017 from the union of the Norwegian Lindorff and the Swedish Intrum Justitia. It is present in 25 European countries and in Brazil it has about 10,000 collaborators and has 180 corresponding structures all over the world. In Intrum Italy (49% Intesa Sanpaolo, 51% Intrum) there are almost 1000 collaborators divided into 27 territorial offices located in 22 cities.

Intrum Italy is the result of the integration of Intesa Sanpaolo’s credit recovery activities and asset class specialist teams and, in June 2019, of the merger by incorporation of CAF’s activities into Intrum Italy.

Revalue (the new corporate name of Cross Factor) is an active operator in debt purchasing and in the management and purchase of UTP portfolios. Its share capital is held by Intrum Italy Holding and is therefore not part of the perimeter of Intrum Italy.

CREDIT COLLECTION

Intrum Italy, thanks to a capillary network of professionals who work with certified procedures, deals with debt collection through out-of-court or legal channels, also making use of the collaboration of Intrum Law, a law firm consisting of about 200 legal professionals operating in the offices of Rome and of Milan, together with a network of corresponding lawyers operating throughout the national territory. In addition, a network of paralegals support the studio and phone collectors in the recovery processes.

CREDIT MANAGEMENT

Intrum Italy helps companies to be paid faster and to reduce outstanding credits, we also deal with the prevention of the risk of insolvency.

PAYMENT MONITORING

Our payment monitoring services are based on deep knowledge and experience in payment processes. We are able to implement rigorous and customer-friendly processes of your customers that will help you get paid faster.

PORTFOLIO INVESTMENTS

Intrum Italy also makes investments in overdue credit portfolios of banks or companies, allowing the seller to have more resources available for growth. Following the purchase of the portfolios, we adopt all the measures that allow to recover the credits while helping the debtors to repay the installments with repayment plans that take into account the capacity of the payment capacity of each of them.

REAL ESTATE

At Intrum we are specialists in the management and enhancement of assets with real estate underlying. Following the deal with Intesa Sanpaolo (shareholder of Intrum Italy with 49%) we manage or enhance thousands of non-performing real estate positions.

Within Intrum Italy there are also some REoCOs (Real Estate Owned Companies) which are active operators in the market by buying at auction or by selling properties. REoCO also carries out the auction support service regardless of the size of the property or its location on the territory. In the case of a purchase, the potential of the property is mapped (by also elaborating an investment memorandum) and imagine what would happen if REOCO bought it. The project is made available to the market where it intercepts the most suitable buyer, with respect to the type, position and size of the property, so that he can ‘buy’ the idea developed, present himself at the auction and make his offer.
